Privacy Policy
The enquiry form asks for a name, an email address, an organisation, a region, a subject and a message; a phone number is optional. Email brings whatever you choose to write in it. Standard server logs record IP addresses and page requests, as they do on any site. That is the extent of it.
Directly from you, when you submit the form or write to us. Nothing is bought from lists, scraped from profiles or inferred in the background.
To read your enquiry, answer it, and carry the work forward if an engagement follows. We send no marketing and keep no mailing list, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.
The engineers who handle your enquiry. We do not sell or trade personal information, and we hand it to no third party for their own purposes. The providers that host our website and email process data on our behalf and on our instructions only. If the law compels disclosure, we disclose what it compels and no more.
Enquiry records live in our business systems, with access limited to the people working on them, behind encrypted connections and current software. They are kept while relevant to the enquiry or the engagement that follows, and deleted when no longer needed.
Our email runs on Microsoft 365, which stores Australian tenants' mailbox data in Australia and processes some supporting service data in its overseas facilities. The website and its enquiry form run on Netlify. Form submissions are stored in Netlify's systems, which may sit outside Australia, until we export and delete them. Site analytics runs on Plausible, hosted in the European Union. Where any provider we use stores or processes information outside Australia, we remain accountable for it under Australian privacy law.
This site runs Plausible, a cookieless analytics service. Visits are counted in aggregate, with no cookies, no cross-site tracking and no advertising identifiers. Nothing on this site profiles you.
No software here makes decisions about you. Enquiries are read and answered by engineers. If that ever changes, this section will describe what the software uses and what it decides.
Ask what we hold about you and we will show you. Ask us to correct it and we will. If you think we have mishandled your information, write to info@novantum.com.au; we investigate, reply with what we found and what we did, and aim to resolve complaints within 30 days. If our answer does not settle it, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner takes complaints at oaic.gov.au.
Privacy questions, access requests and complaints all go to info@novantum.com.au. One address, read by people who can act on it.
When our handling changes, this policy changes with it. Updates are published here with a new effective date.
